Art and Design
Vision Statement
We aim for our children to develop and build their creative confidence throughout their time in our school. We intend to engage, inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the understanding and skills to experiment, invent and create their own artistic works. In addition, pupils should develop a deeper understanding of how Art and Design has reflected and shaped our cultural history, and how it contributes to the creative wealth of our world. We want children to enjoy Art and Design in our school, so that they are better equipped for the opportunities, responsibilities and challenges in life beyond primary school.
